After traveling to England to attend a Labyrinth conference and walk the Tor at Glastonbury, the Lashes decided in March 2004 to build a labyrinth in their front yard, as a meditation garden and a place of peace. The Peace Pole was dedicated June 5, 2006 at the Dancing Bear Labyrinth. Elders from the Cherokee Nation spoke and drummed at the gathering, while peoples of all races read prayers of peace and walked the labyrinth broadcasting peace into the world. This is in the front yard of a private house in Grant Park.
